We depart for a P&O Dover to Calais crossing and then proceed on making a short stop in Adenkirk. From there we go to DePanne where you get up to 4 hours to spend at your leisure.
A pretty seaside resort (with the widest beach in the country, covered in white sand!) and well served by bars and bistros. The surrounding dunes are the oldest in Europe and make an interesting setting for a stroll. The town itself is of great importance in Belgian history and playing a significant part in the Dunkirk story in WW2, this can be explored more in the WW2 Museum with free entry. However you choose to spend the day, being active or relaxing and exploring the quaint little shops, you’ll have an enjoyable day.
